Al-Azhar is banned from pubg game because of the player's kneeling scenes
Al-Azhar International Center for Electronic Fatwa warned of the game "Mobile Phone" after a new update that contains the player kneeling to a idol in a map called "Sanhok", where the player is required to kneel to obtain equipment and weapons.

The center said: "The danger of the game did not depend on killing, suicide and self-harm, but rather exceeded it to directly affect the belief of our children, so that the risk of this game increases recently after the issuance of an update that contains the prostration of the player and his kneeling to idol in order to obtain concessions within the game." .

He continued: "There is no doubt that it is a very dangerous matter, a great influence on the souls of our youth and young people who represent the majority of the fans of this game. For a child or a young man to resort to other than God, Glory be to Him, to ask a benefit or pay a harmful thing, even in a virtual, entertaining electronic reality, something that disturbs his belief in God his Creator Glory be to Him, and underestimates the worship of others, even if it is a stone that does neither harm nor benefit.

The Center reiterated its affirmation of the sanctity of all electronic games "that call for violence or contain wrong ideas by which it is intended to distort the faith or the law and contempt of religion, and call for kneeling or prostrating to other than God Almighty or humiliation of sanctities or violence or hatred or terrorism or harm to the soul or others."
