The protest took place on March 2011 and they called to purify the foundation from the remnants’ of the former regime.
ANHRI said that “the judgment is surprising, as it ignored the decree law of the
president regarding the full pardon to all who were convicted in the events of the revolution whether felony or a misdemeanor, that was committed to support the revolution. Beyond the reason of doubt, the charges of “Hanan” included in the full pardon, as the purification of the governmental institution from remnants is one of the most significant objectives of the revolution. Therefore, any event conducted to achieve this objective is for the revolution”.
