Libyan dictator Muammar Gaddafi may be looking for a way out of the crisis in his country and 'exploring' his future options, according to U.S. Secretary of State, Hillary Clinton.
She said the American administration was receiving reports that the Colonel's inner circle may have reached out to people in Europe and around the world to ask 'How do we get out of this?'.
'Some of it is theatre,' Clinton said in an interview with ABC television's Diane Sawyer.
'Some of it is, you know, kind of, shall we say game playing.
'We've heard about other people close to him reaching out to people that they know around the world, Africa, the Middle East, Europe, North America, beyond, saying 'what do we do? How do we get out of this? What happens next?':
