Crisis in Egypt: Interactive Map Plots Protests in Cairo 
Tensions over President Hosni Mubarak's near 30-year regime came to head on Tuesday, Jan. 25, when tens of thousands of protesters took to the streets in several Egyptian cities.


Cairo has become a hotbed of violence. The once peaceful protests have turned into all out brawls between those who believe Mubarak's resignation would mean freedom from oppression, and those who fear they will lose everything if he steps down.
